Dr. Kathleen Page, Coordinator of Latin American Programs, is an Instructor of Infectious Diseases at JHU.  Dr. Page was born in Uruguay and raised in Uruguay, Argentina, and Bolivia. She came to the U.S. for undergraduate studies in Public Health at JHU and completed her medical degree at Washington University School of Medicine.  She trained in internal medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and completed her Infectious Diseases Fellowship at JHU. She is currently the Medical Director for HIV at the Baltimore City Department of Health.

During her training, Dr. Page participated in several public health projects in Bolivia.  Her research has focused on heterologous immunity and the immunopathologic consequences of co-infection with malaria and tuberculosis.   Dr. Page also conducts clinical research on latent tuberculosis infection and health disparities among the Latino population in Baltimore. She joined the CCGHE to expand clinical educational programs in Latin America and is currently collaborating with the Gorgas Memorial Institute in Panama.
